Happy Monday bright people! I am back after another week of traveling, and cannot wait to share vignettes and stories from my trip with you. Travel last week was focused on learning and development, as I took time off from work to attend a soft skills training. The training was geared towards introspection and cultivating awareness of different personality types – our own as well as others. My top takeaways from the sessions – be mindful, listen more, respect time and do more of what makes you happy! Did you grow up reading Enid Blyton? I did! Her books were a very important part of my growing up years and I feel like her stories helped me believe that anything is possible, and magic does exist! Her stories ranged from the whimsical to the realistic – on one hand she would write about folklore and faraway lands, and on the other hand she would narrate adventures of school kids solving mysteries. Happy Friday folks! I have had a really rough week, and I am glad it is coming to an end. Apart from all the work commitments and crazy planning for some upcoming travel, I have been pretty anxious about my mom’s surgery for Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, which was scheduled for today. Thankfully, the surgery went off well and we are looking forward to having her back home soon! I am hoping and wishing for her speedy recovery in the days to come.
