Hello lovely people, are you ready for the holidays? I know I am! 2016 has been one crazy year (I have a feeling I say that for every year), and I am glad it is coming to an end. This year just disappeared in front of my eyes! Stay tuned for my year end post to find out exactly what I was up to in these past 12 months, and then we can mutually decide if it was just busy or productive. 😉 I am so happy for December – I feel like it is one of the best months of the year. Color always makes me happy! I go crazy with the camera when I spot a multicolored building during my travels. There are many wonderfully constructed, artistic, multi-hued buildings around the world – a testament to the amazing talent of creative artists everywhere. For today’s post, I thought I would share pictures of 30 odd colorful buildings which really caught my attention while browsing the web. Rune uses everyday objects to create stories in the natural landscape of his hometown, Norway. These complex and time consuming installations are painstakingly created by hand, and the end result is installation art which looks like a magical painting. What I really like about his creations is the balance between real life and fantasy. The locations and structure of his installations has a mystical feel to them, making you escape into a fairy tale of your own. But the use of common objects immediately brings you back to reality. His…
