Sparkle #100: Magical Art for your Desktops

Have you heard of Vladstudio.com? I stumbled upon Vladstudio almost 5 years ago, when I was looking for quirky and whimsical wallpapers to dress my shiny new Sony Vaio! Vladstudio is an art project of Russian digital artist Vlad Gerasimov – a professional web designer. Sometime in the late 90’s, he started designing desktop and mobile wallpapers in his spare time. His designs swing between the bright and colorful, to the dark and mysterious. Sparkle #99: Travel Illustrations Of Famous Cities

Travel inspiration can strike anywhere – over a conversation, in a movie, through a book or from the internet! I recently stumbled across these delightful city illustrations from the Tokyo Illustrators Society and am craving a trip to New York again! Japanese artist Kondo Yoshie put together these colorful and charming city illustrations for a travel book project. Her art is whimsical, beautiful and at the same time very informative, capturing the different nuances of a city in great detail.
