Sparkle #166: Vintage Holiday Cards

Happy Monday folks! It’s almost Christmas, and I cannot wait until the holiday season officially kicks in sometime next week. With less than 10 days to go for Christmas, I have been obsessed with finding the perfect holiday cards which I can share with my loved ones. I think I am strongly leaning towards vintage themed holiday cards this season. Just browsing through some of these cards makes me feel so warm and happy inside. They remind me of a simpler, nicer time and a Christmas spent with family, friends, love and gratitude. These vintage cards reinforce the values of the holiday, and help us focus on all the wonderful…

Which one of these should I pick for decorating my tree this year? Vote for your favorite using comments below. (PS – I…

Sparkle #164: Gorgeous Party Dresses

Parties and December go hand in hand! Whether it is a Christmas get together, a holiday party at work or a New Year’s bash – going out gets more frequent in December. And every evening out is an excuse to go shopping and pick up a new party dress! When it comes to party dresses, there are plenty of options to choose from – both in terms of tailoring and embellishments. I feel like we are living in a time where one can pretty much carry off anything – lace, sequins, beads, velvet – and still not commit a fashion faux pas. Personally, I avoid dresses with…

A Gold & White Christmas Tree!

I am sure most of you have already decorated your Christmas tree. I typically do it in the second week of December, so I will be setting up mine over the weekend. I am still thinking about what theme I want to choose for decorating my tree this year. Should I make it multi-colored or two toned? Should I opt for a vintage look or a modern, contemporary one? I am still going through all these options in my head and hope to finalize something soon! Meanwhile, here are some pictures of my Christmas tree decor from last year. I chose a gold and white theme and added a pop of red via the…
