Sparkle #136: Disco Gypsy at Paris Fashion Week

Fashion Week is upon us again and this time the runway is setup in Paris! My favorite show at Paris has almost always been Manish Arora’s ready to wear Spring Summer preview. Kitschy, psychedelic and colorful – his trademark style is very close to my heart. He never disappoints, and this time was no different! I have always been a fan of his work, check his previous collections here. Sparkle #112: India Couture Week 2015

I love traditional Indian wear. It is such an extraordinary combination of fabrics, colors and silhouettes. Indian clothing takes inspiration from the country’s rich cultural heritage, which often manifests in the form of contrasting elements combined together to produce fashion which is dramatic and opulent. Prints, threadwork, sequins, lace – everything has a place in Indian fashion! India Couture Week is an annual event which celebrates this rich craftsmanship of Indian textiles and presents classic outfits in a new light.
