Today is Holi – the festival of colors, love, laughter and merrymaking. The Holi festival marks the end of winter and is a great way to welcome spring. Holi is probably one of the most chilled out Indian festivals ever – all you are expected to do on the day is put color on your family and friends (kind of like paintball), eat, drink and just have fun! Holi is a celebration of love, friendship and happiness. The fun and frolic in the air, faces drenched in color, people soaking wet, music, dance and togetherness – I love everything about this festival! On…
I recently came across some illustrated covers for the Holiday Magazine, and was curious to know more about their content and readership. The Holiday Magazine was first published in the US between 1946 – 1977, and it introduced a new and exciting glamour and lifestyle travel format for it’s readers. More images with step by step instructions are available on her blog linked above. Do you have any fun…

Kitschy, psychedelic and colorful – his trademark style is very close to my heart. He never disappoints, and this time was no different! I have always been a fan of his work, check his previous collections here. With a collection labelled ‘Disco Gypsy’, he stayed true to his quirky style but added a whole lot of drama via prominent Indian elements. The exuberantly colored clothes feature a vast array of embellishments and fun details…
