January is a month for new promises, fresh starts and inspiration to be a better “you” in the new year. But as the months roll by and we get caught in the hustle and bustle of daily life, we forget these reminders / resolutions and quickly fall into our old habits which are so tough to break.
So this month, while I am still feeling motivated for the year ahead, I decided to create some reminders which would help me stay grateful and inspired to make a positive start every day of the new year (and not just in January!).
You must be wondering what I am talking about? Well recently I stumbled across several interesting “notes in a jar” DIYs and these got me thinking about how I could use them to create daily inspirations which would help me stay charged up for the entire year.
These different “notes in a jar” DIYs featured below will serve as regular reminders for whatever it is that you intend to achieve in the new year. Pick 365 of your favorite quotes, affirmations or any other thoughts and write them out on different slips of paper. Then put all of these in a jar on your desk. Start each day fresh by picking a slip of paper – this will act as a fantastic reminder for all you want to be and do in the year 2016! Isn’t this a great idea to stay inspired all year long? So go ahead pick the DIY which you feel is most relevant to your goals and intentions.
