Prints, threadwork, sequins, lace – everything has a place in Indian fashion! India Couture Week is an annual event which celebrates this rich craftsmanship of Indian textiles and presents classic outfits in a new light. Several acclaimed Indian designers take part in this show to present their take on traditional Indian garments. Trip of a Lifetime: Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh: Part 1

Hello wonderful people and happy Sunday! I woke up feeling real good this morning. Sparkle #42: Romance the Taj

Aloha people! Tuesdays on the blog are all about travel love, and the inspiration for today’s post actually emerged during a conversation at work; when the team was discussing and planning a visit to the Taj Mahal, a monument in India famous for love and beauty.       Taj Mahal is one of the most famous monuments in India and the world. It’s mesmerizing beauty has made it popular as one of the seven wonders of the world, and it is also a designated UNESCO world heritage site. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan constructed this monument in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The structure – essentially a white marble mausoleum – is…
